Mellow Doodles was founded by Melissa Webb in 2017 after leaving her job as an Art Teacher because of her mental health. She decided to turn the hardest time in her life in to something positive with the hope of helping others who were facing the same challenges.
Developing her illustration style along the way, she began drawing, writing and sharing online. She was supported to launch by The Prince's Trust in 2017 and quickly grew her audience, customers and product range. By the end of 2020, Melissa had been awarded Businessperson of the Year at The Mercury Business Awards.
